I feel compelled to write and tell you of my experience with Digestacure. First, by way of background, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis about a year ago after experiencing some blood in my stool. After my colonoscopy, the doctor told me that I had a mild case of UC and prescribed .375 mg of Apriso, a form of Asacol. I was told to take four tablets a day and that the medication would not cure the problem but would bring it into remission. When I asked how long I would have to continue the medicine, I was floored to hear him say for the rest of my life.
I began taking the medication as prescribed, four tablets a day at bedtime, and did notice an improvement in my symptoms. My main issue at the time was blood in the stool, which manifested on the tissue after a bowel movement. My bowel habits did not include any diarrhea but I noticed each morning I awoke with bloating and some lower abdomen discomfort. My bowel movements were somewhat erratic, occurring at different times of the day and sometimes 2-3 times a day. The blood in the stools cleared up and I was satisfied with the results. However, I became aware in time of regular mild headaches each night, which I now believe was a side effect of the medication.
All went well until about three months ago when the bloody stools showed up again. Some days were very light and others more severe. At that time (around October 2013) I did some research online and learned of Digestacure. I read about some of Dr. Drucker’s work and downloaded a copy of his Code of Life book. I also read some of the testimonials. In one in particular, I was impressed that the gentleman provided his phone number and I called him. His case seemed to have been much worse than mine but after taking Digestacure he declared himself now free of all symptoms for more than two years.
I ordered my first bottle of Digestacure and began taking it as directed November 1, 2013 in addition to maintaining my regimen of Apriso. In a matter of about two weeks I noticed that my symptoms had improved to the point of very slight showings of blood and occasionally none at all. By the third week I hardly noticed any sign of blood after a BM. At the end of the month, I had no further showings on tissue but could still detect some blood in the stool.
I decided during the first week of December to reduce my Apriso to 3 tablets daily and to monitor the results while maintaining my 8 daily tablets of Digestacure. My UC symptoms were still improving and to my surprise, I became aware that my nightly headaches had greatly improved. Encouraged by this, I reduced my Apriso to 2 tablets daily beginning the second week. Again, the only changes were positive, in that my headaches disappeared. On the third week, I reduced my Apriso to 1 tablet daily and then at the end of December I stopped taking the Apriso completely. Now, my UC symptoms are completely gone and I do not detect any blood in the stool. I have not reduced my Digestacure to 6 tablets daily and will continue at this rate through the end of January.
I am in overall good health now and very grateful to have found help with Digestacure. I will be celebrating my 70th birthday later this month and hope to have many more.
Thank you for this fine product.
