My husband has suffered from acid reflux and hiatal hernia for 10 plus years. He has had his esophagus stretched twice. He had an ulcer several years ago as well. Patient and Practitioner: What to Generally Expect with Various Conditions: This average healing time frame outline can provide you with a good general feel for what to expect with various common autoimmune conditions. These averages reported are based on thousands of cases which I have been both directly and indirectly involved with over the last 20 years.
Practitioner: Given the fact that autoimmunity is the damaging driving force behind these conditions, you will generally find that a 30 to 60% improvement is usually attained in the first 3 to 6 months due to the elimination of the autoimmune attack. Many conditions largely involving inflammation and minimal tissue damage will have attained 70 to 100% at that juncture.
